We have been notified that citizens are being contacted by a person claiming to work for the sheriff's office who advises them that they have a warrant for their arrest. The subject directs them to purchase gift/debit cards and give him the numbers in order to resolve the warrant.. The number the calls are coming 903-467-3448 which appears to be the sheriff's office. This is a scam, the sheriff's office will not contact citizens by phone to take care of a warrant.
