On Friday, December 20th, NCSO Corporal Shane Richards responded to suspicious activity near Richland. A caller had reported a "suspicious trailer and UTV" on SW CR 2350 @ SW CR 2340.

Corporal Richards confirmed the dump trailer was stolen out of Navarro County and had been taken from Clayton Homes on I-45 Angus on December 19th.

The John Deere Gator was reported stolen out of Hillsboro PD and was taken from United Ag and Turf John Deere in Hillsboro.

This is just another example of our citizens partnering with law enforcement by seeing something and saying something. As a result, both crime victims will have their stolen property returned.
