On Thursday, December 19, NCSO Corporal Keith Lewis and Deputy Matt Swindall went to a residence on NW 2005 Corsicana to attempt a misdemeanor warrant service.

The deputies did not locate the wanted person but on a totally unrelated situation as a result of their investigation at the location, the deputies located and recovered a stolen vehicle from Illinois parked in the driveway.

The Deputies also located a suspect at the property who was wanted out of Illinois for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

I applaud these deputies work in being observant and aware and as a result, recovering the stolen vehicle along with apprehending the wanted suspect.
