On Wednesday, December 18,2019 approximately 06:30 am the NCSO responded to the 4500 block of W State Hwy 22 Corsicana in reference to theft.
The caller stated a suspect was attempting to steal a camper trailer from the location and nobody should be on the property.
The caller contacted the owner of the camper trailer who advised that nobody had permission to be at the location or tamper with his trailer.
The NCSO arrived at the location and detained the suspect observing he had raised the tongue, leveling jacks and had entered the camper in preparation for transport before the Deputies arrived. The owner valued his camper at $23,000 dollars.
The suspect was ultimately arrested by the NCSO and charged with Burglary of a Habitation.
The suspect remains in custody at the Navarro County Justice Center.
Great job by the concerned citizen who saw something and said something therefore thwarting this felony offense.
