ANGUS, Texas. (KWTX) Linda Campbell, 39, was in custody Tuesday charged with four counts of animal cruelty in what Navarro County’s sheriff described as a “severe” case of animal cruelty.

The charges were filed after authorities removed four dogs from a home in Angus south of Corsicana.

The dogs were taken to a veterinarian for treatment.

Campbell did not appear on the county's online jail roster Tuesday.
