Arrested again on six more counts of indecency


Arrested on six more counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact, former teacher Ramon Santuario-Mendoza was once again booked into the Navarro County Jail Tuesday, April 30.

This arrest comes just five days after his release on bonds totaling $450,000 for six counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact, charges brought against him by Corsicana Independent School District's Police Department on Monday, April 22.

According to reports, the Navarro County Sheriff's Office, Corsicana ISD Police, and the United States Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force apprehend Santuario-Mendoza on these new charges.

These added charges total 12 counts of indecency levied against the former teacher.

Later that day, Corsicana Independent School District released another statement regarding the former teacher: "As part of the ongoing investigation by the Corsicana ISD Police, Mr. Mendoza was arrested today on additional charges of indecency with a child. Corsicana ISD is committed to a thorough investigation including all reports from students and families related to this case."

On Wednesday, May 1,Santuario-Mendoza was arraigned on the additional six counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact. His bond is set at $100,000 for each offense.
