The Navarro County Sheriffs Office Narcotics Division, NCSO-SWAT team along with aerial support from Texas DPS Garland has raided a large illegal marijuana growing operation off SW 0030 near Angus in Navarro County.  

 

The NCSO was originally alerted to suspicious activity in this area before flying the department’s drone and locating the illegal marijuana growing operation.   

 

On Tuesday morning at approximately 07:00 hrs NCSO Deputies secured the location which consisted of 3 separate field of marijuana in various stages of growth.  

 

A total of approximately 17,500 marijuana plants were seized at the location.  

 

This is believed to be the largest number of marijuana plants ever seized at one location in Navarro County.
