ALERRT Training

This week enforcement officers of the NCSO have been participating in mandatory ALERRT training.

This state mandated training is accomplished due to the combined efforts off NCSO and CISD certified ALERRT instructors.

As Sheriff I can proudly say we have ALWAYS conducted Active Shooter Training annually way before any state mandate to do so because it has always been of paramount importance to be prepared in case of an active shooter situation.

I want to thank the CISD for the use of their facilities and Chief Scott Stephens and his staff for their assistance in hosting and accommodating our agency with this necessary training.
