National First Responder Day

10/28/2023

Today, on this National First Responders Day, we want to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who put their lives on the line every day to keep you safe.
Police officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs and dispatchers are all essential members of our communities, and I for one am truly grateful for their service. Every day.
We should all take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices that first responders make. The many sacrifices so many never recognize. They work long hours, more often than not, in dangerous conditions, and they are always on the ready to respond to emergencies, big or small. They are the ones who run towards danger when the majority run away, and they are the ones who put others safety before their own.
We owe a debt of gratitude to first responders for their courage, dedication, and commitment to serving our communities. Today, I ask that you show them your appreciation by saying thank you.
