Stolen Cattle Recovered by NCSO Deputies

07/03/2016

This morning Deputy Caleb Loftis was dispatched to a reported cattle theft on SE 1040 where the owner wanted to report two head of his cattle had been stolen. The owner believed the cattle could have been possibly been stolen last night. As you can clearly see in these photos, the stolen cattle were branded and ear tagged.

During the course of the day Deputy Loftis, along with assistance from C.I.D. Sergeant Robbie Jock, followed up on leads in this case. This afternoon I am proud to report that the stolen cattle were located at a location on NW 0100 Corsicana. The stolen cattle have been recovered and returned to the owner and an arrest for Felony Theft of Livestock has been made in this case.

As you celebrate this 4th of July weekend with your friends and family, please remember our officers who are out and about working another holiday to keep our county safe.
